Hot off the printing press!! (quite literally!)

I said I would update as soon as I found out more and today is the day! (well actually about 13 minutes ago... but still...

After radio silence from GameLand, The manufacturer, for a whopping 12 days after they discovered their mistake (despite half a dozen emails, multiple whatsapp's and reaching out to other members of the organisation) I finally got a response! 

The PVC cards are printed, and the full shipment will be in the port on April 4th. Luckily my team at Spiral Galaxy Games stepped up just like they did last time and are handling the whole process from there on out. So expect smooth sailing from April onwards! 

Speaking of Spiral Galaxy Games, they are also going to handle the international shipping on my behalf this time around so as soon as your games are on the boat I will get you all a accurate postage cost and send those out too. (don't worry if you've moved house! I will get your new address too!)

Hello all you Apequest backers!

I've got some exciting updates to share with you, as well as a small bump in the road... But don't worry, Geoffrey's still swinging strong!

First things first, let's tackle the bad news! there will be a slight delay in shipping. I have discovered a manufacturing error, luckily, caught it before the games were sent out. I want to make sure you get the best possible version of Apequest, so I am taking the time to fix it... which basically means telling GameLand to print 6 cards per box again and then repackage them! I really do appreciate your patience and understanding as I work to get everything back on track, I struggled to hide my frustration in the video but I genuinely believe everything will be worth it in the end.

Now for the fun part! I am excited to announce that I am launching my very own board game cafe called 'Good Game'! This is the perfect place for all you game-lovers out there to come together, play your favourite games, and meet new people. I can't wait to welcome you to the new home of Apequest!

With the launch of Good Game, I've we've decided to rebrand our social media to 'Good Game' as well. This will be the hub for all things Apequest, Bounty hunters (and future games!) and, of course, the new cafe. Shipping, Postage and expectations

Hello everyone! 

I hope you are all well. I am pleased to inform you that the production of Apequest is being completed and the game is being prepared for shipping from the manufacturer.

That means I have received the exact dimensions and weight of each game, which has enabled me to obtain more accurate postage costs! I wanted to remind everyone that you have not been charged for postage yet, and that was a deliberate decision to ensure that you get the most accurate price and that you didnt overpay... as back at the end of last year the prices were even higher!

At this stage, I have received quotes for postage ranging between £4-9 for the UK and between £11-22 for the rest of the world. I will hold off as long as possible before charging you for shipping, in the hope it will continue to fall, so that you will only pay what it actually costs.

Thank you again for your support and patience throughout this process. I will continue to keep you updated as we move forward towards getting Apequest into your hands.

Time for a cuppa and a little looksy?!

It's been a busy time here at Trademark52 Games (and at the professors manor!) but we finally have an ApeQuest update that you can SEE THE GAME!

A video of the very first prototype copy of the final print has been sent to me. Before you look at the pictures of the lovely components, this is basically the manufacturer's test run to make sure we're happy with everything. The version you receive will be even more polished and colourful.

When you take the punch boards out, this is what you'll be looking at. Loads of Easter-eggs here from all over the Professor elemental universe.

You'd be surprised how much can fit into the box! three decks of cards, 6 punch boards, 6 player boards, rules, a comic!

The story of ApeQuest in pictures and words!

The linen texture on the cards will have a great feel, I am so happy that together we unlocked to go with higher quality linen on all the cards.

Pat, the artist, did an amazing job with these illustrations — he turned the professors imaginations and my vision of a game into a reality! 

Expanding the game to a 6 player one was lots of fun, I knew the scaling up difficultly would work great at any player count and I'm so glad to see a game for larger tables!

Happy New Year Update!

Hi all! Remember that cool game you backed last year? well, here's all you need to know about where it is and what's happening!

 The 'Too Long - Didn't read' version is that everything is on schedule for manufacturing and delivery!

 The longer version has a lot of hiccups and delays here and there, nothing major, nothing serious and nothing to report that hasn't already been solved!

 The cards have all had a  final edit to make sure they are the best they can be and the prototype is on its way and should be available to see any day now.

 I am in constant communication with my contact at the manufacturer and she has prepared me for a potentially significant Chinese new year delay. Thankfully I already took this into consideration when making the kickstarter and already allowed for this mass migration of over a billion humans! 

So, happy new year, thankyou for staying with me and I will see you soon!
