Hello everyone!
This update is specifically addressing concerns from backers who have found the game too easy when using a specific tactic.
It's always difficult to hold your hands up and say something that you've poured so much love into isnt quite 'up to scratch' but my priority is the backers - and if 8 or 9 people here are finding it too easy then there must me more too polite to say anything!
I have taken some time to evaluate the situation and to come up with a viable solution that keeps the integrity of the game mechanics, so rest assured, if you've voiced this concern then I have taken it seriously, and I wanted to fully consider the options before responding in full..
As I see it there a few options available that I would like your opinion on.
Please watch the video above and then take a look at the options below to see what (if anything) you think is best...
Options...
A, rewrite the rulebook and take out the ability to lay multiple butlers onto the attack corner.
B, reprint the timeline cards to increase the difficulty of all fights.
C, create a new mechanic where we include a multiplier and/or the automatic health increase of enemies based on player count.
D, do nothing, the game is fun and we just won't over use that tactic.
E, create an expansion for the game, adding new harder timeline cards and a new 'advanced rules' book to go with it.
Each option has various benefits and drawbacks, some are free, easy and quick some will take time effort and cash...

Just a Quick video as I had 7 minutes and 52 seconds free to answer a few questions from this morning.
Spinning the malfunction cog
When asked to spin the trouser malfunction cog you must first take a malfunction cog card and read its instructions, then using two fingers spin the disk either clockwise or anticlockwise. If it lands on green then you succeed and if it land on Red you fail.
Further clarification...
My 5 year old tells me that the red segments are not red. he also shouts 'It's because you're colourblind!' with glee. He's not wrong... I am completely colour blind, and it seems that he may be correct... in light of this, please use the 'light' colours as success and the dark coloured segments as fails.
Recharging
At least one professor must attack each time, therefore you can choose to allow one professor face the bad guy alone if you wish... but be warned, if any professor loses their HP you all lose. Also, if at any time, for any reason you (as a group) are unable to attack the enemy then you all lose too!
Difficulty
I played with around 20 groups at the Expo just gone and only won one game! So feel free to use the optional rules at the back to make the first game easier... You can also add or subtract Timeline cards to change the difficultly of the game.
However I was specifically asked how to make it harder at the expo too! So, if you're a glutton for punishment, you can first of all take extra replacement butlers (or just make them all +2's). You could also use a 'only as strong as our weakest player' rule, where-by you all take the starting stats of the weakest professor!
